ETU is seeking an experienced inbound focused Enterprise Business Development Representative with a proven track record of opening new relationships in organizations with 15,000+ employees within targeted verticals. You will lead the Business Development function for the company and help set the strategy for new business acquisition efforts.
Consistently working to industry best practice standards in everything you do, you will:
Identify and prioritize major prospects, identify C-Suite decision makers and develop new business account plans. Your performance goals will be measurable, and tied to revenue.
Proactively follow-up inbound new business leads, establish relationships and develop the accounts. Execute creative business models to expand ETU’s footprint in the corporate Learning and Development marketplace, including some outbound outreach as needed
Coordinate and support customer meetings with senior management and C-Level Executives
Expand ETU awareness with new business accounts - e.g. you will lead customer meetings, present and demonstrate the ETU value proposition and talent platform and introduce Account Executives into the process
Represent ETU at relevant industry events and webinars, and engage in networking and sharing on LinkedIn.
3+ years of proven success in corporate/enterprise SaaS software business development. (Bonus if 1-2 years of experience in Learning and Development space)
Proven experience selling in to C-suite executives and senior management
Proven track record of identifying prospects, following up and developing leads and supporting sales and marketing efforts in securing new business Strong record of customer business development or sales, new market penetration, and C level engagements with industry relationships which can be leveraged to drive business growth
Excellence and differentiation in your ‘how’ - how you reach out, communicate, engage and within that, sell (to augment ETU’s ‘what’ - its award winning and robustly proven products, value propositions and team)
Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal, collaboration and written communication skills
Excellent and effective time management skills. Self-directed with ability to prioritize activities
Business development success in a start-up or emerging business model a plus
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
