Product marketing managers are responsible for developing effective marketing strategies and plans to communicate the features and benefits of new products to customers. Frequently, product marketing managers are the 'voice of the customer' within their company, precisely researching consumer needs and experiences.
ETU is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager reporting to our Marketing Director with a proven track record of developing, analyzing, and supporting go to market strategy and execution within an Enterprise Software capacity.
Working closely with the CTO and Marketing Director you will:
Define ETU’s product portfolio and suite of offerings: For each of the three simulation offerings ETU provides, Enterprise Platform, Solutions and Services, you will solidify the proper positioning, buying process, and market requirements together with the product team. Working with the marketing team, you’ll also determine how the product positioning fits into the marketing plan.
Monitor product profitability: You will analyze KPIs to determine how well ETU’s product is performing in the market, how it impacts the company operations, and ultimately, how it contributes to profit.
Clarify buyer personas: You will define the archetypical buyers involved in the purchasing of ETU solutions, and provide continuous market research to determine whether new buyers should be targeted.
Enhance positioning: You’ll build out a clear description of the ETU platform, its differentiators, and its ability to solve market problems. You will also create internal positioning documents that will be used to develop external messages focused on each key buyer or persona.
Create collateral, presentation & demos: You will develop relevant collateral to be used for all ETU go-to-market channels, and provide needed market and solution information to support internal and external marketing programs. Key to these are professional demonstrations of our various simulation types from low to high fidelity.
Educate the sales team: Through regular communication with the sales team, you will support their understanding and ability to communicate product highlights and benefits to prospects and customers.
Analyze customer feedback: Together with the client advisor team, you’ll continuously gather and process customer feedback, using the intelligence to inform future product decisions.
Proven track record in product marketing, with preference given to candidates with a background in learning and Development (L&D). Experience in the following areas:
Launching differentiated products that meet and exceed business objectives - experience with simulation learning products a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including some copywriting skills
Self-motivation and ability to work independently
Communication skills at all levels of an organization
